Corporate and social responsibility

The Company’s area of operation is human fertility testing.  Its products are aimed as assisting couples who are seeking to have children, and who have not so far conceived, by providing access, in an at-home, self-test form, to two of the tests which would normally only be done in a fertility laboratory after a medical referral.

The Company is aware that the subject of fertility, particularly when conception is difficult, can be emotional and stressful to those concerned.  Correspondingly it has designed its product website www.fertell.co.uk to empower couples by providing information, contacts and quoting actual case histories.

Genosis has  also set up the Fertell Information Line to take calls from both customers and healthcare professionals. The Fertell Information Line is open from 8am-8pm weekdays and 10am-4pm at weekends. The Fertell Information Line is available on freephone 0800731 8267 from the UK and 1800 882 367 from the ROI.

There are many experienced and understanding counselling networks, information packed websites and support groups that can help and give rational and sympathetic advice. Genosis aims to put customers in touch with related support networks to assist their fertility journey.  These are described on the www.fertell.co.uk website and include:

Infertility Network UK - a national charity that works throughout the UK, providing help and information to those experiencing fertility problems. They provide a wide range of support and information services including an advice line and a regional network of staff that provide a local service. One of their goals is to help couples make informed decisions throughout the process of investigations, treatment and beyond. Whatever help is needed they endeavour to provide it in a way that suits each individual's needs.   www.infertilitynetworkuk.com
